no matter what hubsoft you use if you want to run a hub, you may be open to someone attacking your hub.
I have found a good way to protect your pc from these attacks is to d/l Hexhub and install it, run it on a different port and set it to max users 1 (you only)  make yourself owner, and any attacks made on you will be prevented by the built in firewall, but will also show up as attempted attacks in your opchat.

Yes, i run hexhub on a spare unused port and i am the only one logged in Wink

by the way architect, like it or loathe it, ynhub is still the most popular hubsoft around at the moment, it might not be the most reliable, fastest or efficient, but many ppl like it because they find it easy to use and very flexible with its features Wink

I loathe it. However, I am willing to give all the supportive input I can to hubowners who dont repeat the same stupid questions over and over. YnHub, although 2 years dead, has been widely used since who knows how long. Now ADC and QSDC come into play, maybe the YnHub project developers might wake up Tongue especially as i work on QSDCHub now, which will be far more useable than YnHub in its solid releases. Not only that, but it will be opensource Tongue

Project QSDCHub was approved in sourceforge.net a day before this post was made. It can be found in http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/qsdch
